Probable changes to the work permit legislation
In the nearest future we are expecting some important changes in the work permit rules. The main drawback is that the effect of work permits would no longer be extended to 2 or more regions. That would require employers to obtain a work permit in each region of operation where their expatriate specialist is engaged. There is a good part though - the local content requirements may be cancelled for the 1st category work permits, i.e. for CEOs and their deputies.
