Indira Sadenova

Indira has expertise in corporate dispute resolution, corporate transaction support, and company restructuring and winding up.  She also has experience structuring and supporting transactions for the acquisition of businesses, the sale and purchase of large-size agricultural enterprises, as well as the initiation of rehabilitation and bankruptcy procedures.

Indira’s experience also includes legal representation of clients in their disputes with land, tax and antitrust authorities over the lawfulness of their acts and the recovery of state reimbursements.

Indira supported a large holding company through the process of getting financing from major financial institutions and restructuring loans therefrom.  She is very successful at establishing liaison with government authorities and representing clients seeking public services and undergoing comprehensive audits.

Prior to joining Sayat Zholshy & Partners, Indira held the office of Legal and Strategy Deputy Director General in a large agro-industrial holding company where she handled all legal issues.  She also acted as a deputy of maslikhat and a member of the local community council.

Indira Sadenova has over 9 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer supporting large-scale transactions for the sale and purchase of land tenure rights and the acquisition of agricultural enterprises, assisting with the obtainment of regulatory permits and approvals, and supervising the expert assessment and commissioning of various construction facilities.  Furthermore, Indira has litigation experience dealing with corporate disputes and appealing against actions of government authorities, including national- and local-level state revenue, antitrust and other authorities.  Indira is a properly licensed notary public and attorney-at-law.

Indira is a graduate of the Kazakhstan Humanitarian Legal University with a Bachelor’s degree in jurisprudence and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration with a Master’s degree in law.  Indira is a member of the Almaty City Bar.
