On 6-7 June 2019, the Almaty Holiday Inn hosted the Kazakhstan Corporate Law Forum sponsored by VIProMotion and devoted to the following topics:

— latest trends and developments in JSC and LLP laws;

— JSC regulatory concerns;

— LLP regulatory concerns;

— corporate deals and interested party transactions;

— corporate disputes: case study; and

— corporate governance.

SZP Senior Partner Arman Berdalin delivered to the Forum the following presentations:

— Key Issues to be Considered by Joint Stock Companies in Transacting: Transaction Status Identification; and

— Approaches to Conceptualization of Corporate Governance Standards.

Further, Arman Berdalin moderated the session titled “JSC Regulatory Concerns” and took an active role in other sessions of the Forum.
