On 25-26 September 2025, Almaty hosted the XY Kazakhstan Legal Forum devoted to the market regulation issues, dispute resolution trends, fast developing digital law, and corporate law burning matters.  The Forum programme included the English Law Day and numerous legal workshops and events.

Sayat Zholshy & Partners co-sponsored the Corporate Law and M&A sections of the Forum.

SZP Senior Partner Arman Berdalin moderated 4 sessions focusing on Corporate Law, Corporate Governance and M&A specifics.

SZP Counsel Olzhas Daniyarov moderated all the sessions devoted to the AIFC companies and their regulation from the perspective of Kazakhstan law.

SZP Managing Partner Vitaliy Vodolazkin delivered a presentation to the audience of the M&A and Corporate Transactions as Core Practice Areas for Kazakhstan Law Firms session focusing on the current litigation practice in the corporate dispute resolution area.

The Kazakhstan Legal Forum is the most important Central Asian platform for the exchange of experience, networking and discussions with the leading industry experts and public officials.  The Legal Forum is an annual event held in Kazakhstan.
