Sayat Zholshy & Partners and Stevenson, Wong & Co. Host Business Breakfast in Hong Kong

On 10 September 2026, Sayat Zholshy & Partners, together with Hong Kong law firm Stevenson, Wong & Co., hosted an exclusive business breakfast in Hong Kong focused on investment in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

Held alongside the 9th Belt and Road Summit, the event brought together representatives of financial institutions, the investment community, businesses and professional advisory firms from Hong Kong and Mainland China.

Sayat Zholshy & Partners was represented by Senior Partner Arman Berdalin and Kelsey Wang, the firm’s China Desk adviser on Chinese law. Among the distinguished guests was Mr Bauyrzhan Dosmanbetov, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Hong Kong and Macao SARs of the People’s Republic of China.

The discussion focused on investment opportunities in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, as well as practical considerations for foreign investors implementing projects in the region. The exclusive format allowed the participants to move beyond a general overview and engage in a substantive exchange of views on market entry and the implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan.
