Sayat Zholshy & Partners has been awarded a partnership in an IFC Project
At the end of 2012, Sayat
Zholshy & Partners was selected as a partner of International Finance
Corporation (IFC) in Doing Business 2013, an annual review performed by the
World Bank. IFC delivered letters of gratitude and privilege to five SZP
employees who contributed to the project most of all, including Vitaliy
Vodolazkin (Managing Partner), Aidyn Bikebayev (Senior Partner), Arman Berdalin
(Partner), Amir Begdesenov (Senior Associate) and Indira Yeleussizova
(Associate).
This project implies an annual review performed by the IFC experts, with the
assistance of the World Bank, to benchmark the economic and business
regulations of 185 countries, including Kazakhstan. The results of this review
have been published in the special analytical report Doing Business 2013:
Smarter Regulations for Small and Medium Size Enterprises.
The 2013 edition presents a broad spectrum of data on legal and economic
regulation of 11 key aspects of doing business, such as: establishment of a
business, construction licensing, ownership certification, raising credits,
investor protection, tax payments, recruitment, etc. All the key indicators are
used for analysis of the economic performance of a certain business and
determine which business process regulation reforms are the most efficient, in
which sector and why.
