In 2009 Sayat Zholshy and Partners was recognized as the best law firm in Kazakhstan in three nominations within the framework of the 4th Annual Forum of Corporate Lawyers

In 2009, Sayat Zholshy and Partners was named the best law firm in Kazakhstan in 3 nominations:

1. Litigation Team of the Year (head of practice - Vitaliy Vodolazkin, Managing Partner, and Assel Sandybayeva, Senior Associate);
2. Tax Team of the Year (head of practice - Rustam Ospanov, Senior Partner, and Yelena Tyureikina, Senior Associate);
3. Antitrust Team of the Year (head of practice - Aidyn Bikebayev, Senior Partner).

The awards were presented at the Corporate Lawyers Forum on November 6, 2009 in Almaty. The results were based on the feedback from the forum participants (lawyers from about 120 large domestic and foreign companies), voting of the competent judges (consisting of the heads of the Agency of RK on RFCA, Mittal Steel Temirtau, Kazkommertsbank, ATF Bank, Halyk Bank, National Business, Business Resource, Vox Populi, ZAN Media Corporation, Yurinfo, National Economic Chamber of Kazakhstan “Soyuz Atameken”, Forum of Businessmen of Kazakhstan) and survey of clients of the law firms and members of the “Bolashak” Association. 

3 awards out of 10 given to by Sayat Zholshy and Partners is the best result among all law firms in Kazakhstan. This success underlines our status of the market leader earned during 11 years of practice.
