SZP Managing Partner Vitaliy Vodolazkin Presenting at the First International Conference on the Representation of the Kazakhstan Government in Foreign Investment Courts and Tribunals

On 24 January 2024, the Kazakhstan Ministry of Justice conducted the First International Conference titled: Using the Capacities of Kazakhstan Law Firms to Represent and Defend the Kazakhstan Government in Foreign Investment Courts and Tribunals: Issues and Challenges.

SZP Managing Partner Vitaliy Vodolazkin delivered presentation: Collaboration between National and International Law Firms in the Representation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in International Tribunals.  Breaking Barriers to National Law Firm Engagement.

In his presentation Vitaliy addressed the issues of engaging leading national law firms alongside with foreign law firms for the representation and defence of the Kazakhstan Government in international investment courts and tribunals.

Undoubtedly, the profound knowledge of Kazakhstan law, as well as the extensive and unique experience with the application of Kazakhstan legislation reinforce the position of Kazakhstan lawyers in international disputes.

The Conference was also attended by the international law firms who advise the Kazakhstan Government on how to resolve the aforementioned disputes.
